Beer Gardens App Soaks The Big Apple

Beergardens app The Beer Gardens NYC app isn’t the freshest news, since it’s been around since last year. What is fresh though, is the app is now fully integrated with Facebook, Twitter, and Foursquare check ins. The beer-centric iPhone/iPad app is currently available for just 99 cents, waiting for those who wish to find a nice place to enjoy a few beers.

The whole point of Beer Gardens, of course, is for thirsty folk to find a nice place for a cold one. Preferably with friends.

For those new to Beer Gardens, here’s some expalanatory text from their HQ over at iTunes:

“…New York City’s first and only app guide for beer gardens just got even better. We’ve added five new beer gardens (and bid goodbye to a few outta biz friends), Foursquare check-in for sharing comments and photos with your brew-loving buds, and GPS for finding nearby venues.

As before, beer gardens are searchable by borough, neighborhood, beers, and price range. Our updated directory of 900+ beers, searchable by venue and brand, will steer you to the right spot whether you’re a quaffer or a connoisseur, whether it’s St. Paddy’s Day or Oktoberfest. Summaries of the scene, photos, and videos make for a true virtual visit.

We’re Raj and Hope, New Yorkers who live-and drink-in the city. When it comes to city beer gardens, we’ve done the legwork for you. So sit back, sip a cold one, and let the beer gardening begin.”
